Deacom, Inc. (www.deacom.net), established in 1995, produces an award-winning integrated accounting and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system for mid-sized manufacturers. Deacom is looking for a full-time, permanent Business Development representative to take the company to the next level.
The DEACOM ERP package provides demonstrable advantages over our competitors by making complex business processes simple. Although we handle intricate manufacturing processes, our easy-to-use package is fast to implement and simple to maintain.
The sales cycle requires the Business Development representative to research potential clients and to communicate via telephone, as well as through written correspondence. The Business Development representative will work from Deacom headquarters in Wayne, PA.
The successful candidate will be able to develop solutions and interactively make effective presentations to potential customers at all levels, including CEOs, CFOs, manufacturing managers, and line workers. The candidates should be capable of developing leads independently. Average deal size will be approximately $150,000 to $1 million.
Deacom provides ongoing training throughout the sales process, as well as training related to ERP systems and general business practices.
Requirements
- Prior business-to-business sales experience
- Strong presentation/communication skills
- Excellent public speaking skills
- Comfortable speaking to senior-level executives
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Basic knowledge of common software applications, such as Microsoft Office
- Cold-calling experience required
