DEACOM University Announces Last Two Courses of 2011

WAYNE, PA – October 27, 2011 – Deacom, Inc., producer of the DEACOM Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system for mid-to-large sized batch process manufacturing companies, will host two more training courses before the end of 2011. These courses are designed to train users on the new functionalities of its latest software release, DEACOM version 14.2, which is scheduled to be released early 2012.

The DEACOM Master Production Calendar training course will be held November 15-16, 2011. The course will give attendees a comprehensive overview of the new color-coded Master Production Calendar included in version 14.2. The Master Production Calendar displays every step in the job’s routing, or manufacturing sequence, in the workcenter where the step is to be processed. The course will teach users how to get the most out of the new features.

The DEACOM Lot Locations/Master Lot & Unit of Measure Conversion Functionality course will be held December 14-15, 2011. This course is designed to familiarize users with new system enhancements for managing the location and storage of inventory. Attendees will learn how to use the new location table and master lot functionality to make their warehouse management more efficient. Additionally, version 14.2 offers major improvements in DEACOM’s unit of measure functionality. Attendees will learn how to set up the new master unit of measure table to take full advantage of this functionality.

DEACOM University is an accredited program dedicated to training users in every aspect of the DEACOM Integrated Accounting and ERP Software System. Each two-day training course offers CPE credits from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and the Institute for Supply Chain Management (ISM) and is specially developed to educate DEACOM users in a classroom or virtual learning session. Prerequisites are not required.
